Your wrist watch or the computer's clock will never show the exact time. Normally, if the clock is off by a few seconds or a minute, it is nothing serious, but in some fields of expertise, knowing the exact time is crucial. Absolute Time Corrector connects to various NIST ((National Institute of Standards and Technology) servers in order to synchronize your clock, down to the last second, using NIST's atomic time.

You will not lose any time when installing the application on your computer. The setup file is roughly 4 and a half Mb large. You will have to go through a standard installation process, which requires to accept the terms and conditions and specify a destination path.

Absolute Time Corrector's interface resembles a file's properties window. It is small and you can find various options, under different tabs. You can manually sync your system's clock, by clicking two buttons. The first one will display the time on your computer and the one on the server, as well as the difference between them. The second button will instantly adjust your computer's time, according to the atomic clock. The application will correct the system's time, from year and date, all the way to a fraction of a second.

It is also possible to set the application to adjust your clock automatically. It can be adjusted when the application is launched or closed, when an Internet connection is established, every few hours, minutes or even seconds. If you want to know when the clock is adjusted, you can activate balloon notifications and associate sounds with certain events.

Absolute Time Corrector works with over 250 NIST servers and it will automatically choose the fastest one available. You may also use the application as a time server on your Local Area Network. The configurations can be made under the Servers tab and they are not difficult to understand. The software comes with a built-in calendar as well and you can use it to calculate the difference between two dates of your choosing.

Pros

Absolute Time Corrector is very easy to use. You may configure it only once and let it work in the background. It will automatically adjust your system's clock, according to NIST's atomic time.

Cons

The software's trial version has a few limitations. With Absolute Time Corrector, you can adjust your system's clock to a fraction of a second and thanks to its auto adjust feature, your clock will always show the exact time.
